Day 40
Its been hard to keep up with these counting days with the blog. This is the last time I'll put that in there.
Its Papa's birthday. I fetched Pau in UP(University of the Philippines), where she's taking Japanese lessons. Konichiwa. Hahahaha. I'm not really familiar with the place so I asked the driver to drop me off in Palma Hall. Pau's class takes place there. I got there 15 minutes late. I should have leave earlier, good thing Pau is in good mood so its okay.
We went to Quiapo to buy Pau's eyeglasses. She keep having this weird headaches and we suspect that her glasses is not fit for her anymore. On the way there, Pau meet up with a shop customer. He buys button pins. After the quick exchange we head to Quiapo.
I'm not really familiar with the place. There's a lot of people there. A greater number of products are around. From speakers, eyeglasses to different things for everyday use, all are there. Thinking of the fact that we are only in 20 percent of the general area makes me wonder what we can't buy there.
We got to the optical clinic and the products are astounding. There's a huge compilation of eye wear basically everywhere. You can also take for great consideration the price. Its 1/3 of price of the glasses available in the malls. Really great deal.
After purchasing the eye glasses, Pau and I searched for a restaurant. Its already 2 PM and we are both starving. We checked the church(its my first time inside the famous Quiapo Church) and there are priests available for confession. Since Lenten season is just around the corner, we confessed our sins. Once we are done, I feel a lot better. I'm tired but I feel uplifted and great.
We have our late lunch and returned to the optical clinic to get the eye glasses and head home. Papa and Pau talked about meeting up in Santolan station so we waited for him there. I bought a buko shake which doesn't taste good and when Papa arrived, we immediately take a SUV to Cogeo.
Papa saw an
inihaw and he bought some foe dinner. The
inihaw taste great together with the food Papa bought to treat his office mates, I'm full in no time.
Its getting dark so I decided to go home. I wanted to stay but its not really customary here to sleep in the house of the lady unless married. It won't be too long for the wait until we can officially stay in the same house so just be patience in the wait Pau. I love you.
